Licensed Contractors
Hiring only licensed contractors for any remodeling work you want done will save you major risks of hiring an unlicensed contractor. If someone is remodeling your home they need a license no matter what they tell you. Although there is some confusion on which license you need for small tasks it questionable but we suggest requiring a minimum of a certified residential contractor.
This is a residential new construction and remodeling license which demonstrates the contractors ability in many different areas of the contracting business. This is overseen by the DBPR which monitors all licensed contractors in the State of Florida.
